Gratitude Journal

I am SO very grateful this year!  I have a wife.  A son. A thriving business.  SOOOOOO many things to be thankful for!  Not just turkey and gravy!  (Although that really amplifies my gratitude and then sends me into a deeeeeeeeeeeeeep sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep…..)  but I seriously have so much to be grateful for…SO much!

Being a Seattle voice artist / voice talent.  All of the clients I’ve been privileged to record for over the years…now including Car Toys and Enterprise Rent-a-Car.  A great coach like Scott Burns.  Great friends and family.  A job that I love…and is NOT a job!

Thank you Lord!  And there’s even more, I can’t even begin to talk about it yet.  The future is SO bright, and I am SO grateful!  Grateful beyond words.  I believe, and I maintain this until I die, that gratitude is the KEY to continued success.  Gratitude over complaining.  Over bitterness.  Over striving.  Over anything – just being grateful and recognizing that what I’ve been blessed with could’ve landed in the next guy’s lap.  Could’ve passed me by.

I’m.  So.  Grateful for all that has been bestowed to me, of which I am only a steward.  2018 is yet another year I’ve been entrusted with a lot, and therefore have a lot to be grateful for.  What are you grateful for?  What causes you to beam with thanks, and swell with thankfulness?

I’m not just a Seattle voice talent.  I’m an artist who LOVES what he does and thanks God for every single voiceover job he receives, and gushes gratitude.

Here’s a great poem to reflect on about gratitude.  Enjoy!

I thank you, kind and best beloved friend, With the same thanks one murmurs to a sister,

When, for some gentle favor, he hath kissed her, Less for the gifts than for the love you send,

Less for the flowers, than what the flowers convey; If I, indeed, divine their meaning truly,

And not unto myself ascribe, unduly, Things which you neither meant nor wished to say,

Oh! tell me, is the hope then all misplaced? And am I flattered by my own affection?

But in your beauteous gift, methought I traced…Something above a short-lived predilection,

And which, for that I know no dearer name, I designate as love, without love’s flame.

BE GRATEFUL!  There’s so much to be so grateful FOR.
