Auditions, auditions, auditions. And more auditions.

So how much is too much?  Do I keep auditioning forever?  When will it ever pay off?  Why do I invest all this time into all of these recordings that may never actually book me, and probably won’t?  The odds are so against me, and the competition so fierce, so why is it even worth it?

Trust me.  IT IS.  Have fun with all of these auditions.  Keep them going.  Persevere.  Keep on keepin’ on.  It’s a numbers game.  It eventually will pay off, and you’ll see many rewards: financial, relational, talent-growth, learning, connections, and more.  It’s all worth it in the end!  I won’t even tell you how many auditions I’ve done now.  It’s sick!  It’s off the rails!  But it literally took me maybe an hour a day to do all of them.  And that daily hour has produced some pretty sweet financial results and payoffs.  I wouldn’t resent all the auditions for all the money in the world, because they’re paying off.  It will come.  Hang in there!
